Endowment Opportunities

Endowment gifts are an effective way to provide long-term support. Endowment gifts are professionally invested, with funds growing over time. A percentage of the endowment principal is then spent each year on Seminar priorities. Endowment gifts can include:

  • Endowed Scholarships, $100,000, provide ongoing support for participants who need financial help in order to take part in Salzburg Global Seminar programs. An Endowed Scholarship gift of $100,000 will generate approximately $5,000 in scholarship support annually, with the expectation that the endowed funds will grow over time to support larger scholarships in future years.
  • Endowed Program Directorships, $3,000,000, provide full funding for one program director and one program manager to design, organize, and build on Salzburg Global’s convening work in one of our many program areas. An Endowed Program Directorship comes with opportunities for long-term name recognition.
  • Endowed Program Centers, $5,000,000, provide funding for an entire program area, allow for new program research, development, and implementation on topics of critical concern. An Endowed Program Center comes with opportunities for long-term name recognition.
  • Endowed Lectures, $100,000, provide funding in perpetuity for one or more annual lecture series. Endowed lectures can be given within the scope of larger Salzburg Global programs or be stand-alone events in cities around the world. Lectureship endowments cover the full costs for at least one lecturer per year.
