Salzburg Global Seminar looks to create a world-class collection of books, periodicals, and other resources designed for all who come to Salzburg Global Seminar and Hotel Schloss Leopoldskron. From twice-daily coffee breaks during programs and passionate literary discussions among guests, to late-night bookshelf perusals and casual run-ins with Fellows, this new ground-floor Library will be the heart of the Meierhof.
In a building so steeped in history, the Meierhof Library project is a rare opportunity to add a completely new element to the Meierhof, and bring lasting value to Salzburg Global Fellows and Hotel Schloss Leopoldskron guests.
A gift of $2,000,000 could cover not only the design and building costs of the project, but also the continued curation of a globally sourced, Fellow-driven reading and resource library. A $2,000,000 donation for this project also comes with opportunities for long-term name recognition, in one of the most well-trafficked spaces of Salzburg Global Seminar and Hotel Schloss Leopoldskron.
